Fall Commencement Ceremonies

Doors open 60 minutes prior to each ceremony. Ceremonies last approximately 2 hours.

Free parking and shuttle are available on campus at 201 Water Street, Eau Claire. You may park in either the Water Street or HSS Parking Lots. The shuttle service will run from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., continuously between UWEC and The Sonnentag and is a 3-minute ride from door to door on a school bus. 

In-person attendance at The Sonnentag is limited to each graduate and up to ten guests. Tickets are free but required for all guests, including infants and children. Graduates must transfer the e-tickets to their guests prior to arrival. 

Graduates will enter through a different door than guests and do not need a ticket for the ceremony, but must be wearing regalia.

Professional photographers from Grad Images will take photos of all graduates as they receive their diplomas. Please exit the arena immediately following the ceremony so that we may reset for the next ceremony.
