We pride ourselves on fostering a vibrant and inclusive sports culture that caters to all levels of athletic interest and ability. Whether you're aiming to compete at the DIII collegiate level, looking for a fun and engaging way to stay active, or somewhere in between, we have something for you.

Varsity Sports: Our Blugolds varsity teams compete in the NCAA Division III, bringing passion, dedication, and excellence to every game and meet. With a wide range of sports including basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and track and field, our student-athletes excel both on and off the field, showcasing the true spirit of teamwork and commitment.

Club Sports: For those seeking a competitive edge without the full-time commitment of varsity sports, our club sports offer a perfect balance. From rugby to ultimate frisbee, and ice hockey to dance, our club teams provide opportunities to compete regionally and nationally, fostering camaraderie and school pride.

Intramural Sports: If you’re looking for a fun way to stay active and meet new friends, our intramural sports programs are the way to go. Open to all students, faculty, and staff, intramural leagues and tournaments offer a variety of sports and activities, from traditional sports like basketball and soccer to unique options like dodgeball and pickleball.

At UW-Eau Claire, athletics and sports are more than just games—they're a way to build community, develop leadership skills, and create lifelong memories. Whether you're cheering from the stands or scoring the winning goal, there's a place for everyone in the Blugold family. Come join us and be a part of the tradition!
