Mayo Clinic Health System
Mayo Clinic Health System and UWEC have a ground-breaking research collaboration that connects student researchers directly with medical experts. One of only three in the nation, this agreement expands innovation opportunities and improvements to community healthcare research in Northwest Wisconsin, all while providing our students with research opportunities they won’t find elsewhere.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Our collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise allows Blugolds to access state-of-the-art supercomputers for all their research endeavors. This hub of technology is playing a role in developing life-changing solutions that directly benefit those in our community.
Pablo Center at the Confluence
Pablo Center at the Confluence
UWEC partnered with the Pablo Foundation, the state of Wisconsin, Eau Claire County and the city of Eau Claire to develop the $60 million performing arts center that opened in 2018. Blugolds now study, work and perform in the state-of-the-art facility.

The Sonnentag
The Sonnentag Event Center & Fieldhouse at the County Materials Complex is the largest indoor event venue in northwestern Wisconsin. Open to all Blugolds, the space includes a fieldhouse, basketball arena, fitness facility, and a new Mayo Clinic Health System Diagnostic Imaging and Sports Medicine Center that will be used by UWEC students.

Workforce Innovation Grant
A recent $9.4 million grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. (through the agency’s Workforce Innovation Grant program) is helping UWEC lead state-level innovation in creating in-demand undergraduate and graduate programs. The grant also strengthens the workforce for rural health and wellbeing and provides UWEC students with impactful opportunities to gain real-world experience prior to graduation.

Take the Stage at UWEC

Explore the world of acting, music and dance with theatre arts at UW-Eau Claire. There is no role too small, and after completing our theatre arts program, you’ll be able to do them all. A bonus is access to the state-of-the-art performance venue at Pablo Center in downtown Eau Claire.

The Office of Corporate and Community Partnerships was created with the help of a $400,000, three-year National Science Foundation grant, and is the primary entry point for industry, agencies and organizations to connect with the university about consulting and partnering on their research and development needs.
