Abby Hemmerich is a professor in Speech, Language, & Hearing Sciences. Prior to coming to UW-Eau Claire, she practiced clinically in acute care, rehabilitation, and outpatient speech-language pathology settings. Her main area of academic and clinical expertise is voice disorders.

Boris Krichevsky (he/him/his) is an Assistant Professor at UWEC. His background (including being an immigrant-refugee) teaching experience, and research training mediates his growth, self-understanding, and motivation for education research and teacher preparation.

Dr. Lafoon spent a decade teaching middle school in New York City before obtaining her Ph.D. in the History of Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her areas of research and teaching interest include the history of empire and education, multicultural curriculum development, and community/project-based learning. She teaches Social Studies Methods courses for elementary/middle and secondary grades and foundations of education courses.
