The Student Success Program is a one-semester academic support program that provides small classes and a structured introduction to the university for first-year students. Participants are admitted to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire through the Student Success Program because they demonstrate the potential to succeed and may benefit from additional support as they transition to college.

Feedback from past participants indicates that the program provides a solid base to launch into the academic rigor at UWEC and transition to campus life as a Blugold.

The Three Main Components to the Student Success Program
01
Take GEN 110 – Strategies for Academic Success in the Fall

03
Take an Additional 1-credit Course in the Spring
