Understanding Graduation Rates
Graduation statistics track students who begin as incoming first-year students with majors in communication, journalism, or integrated strategic communication to determine what percentage complete their degrees within four years in a major in communication, journalism, or integrated strategic communication. This chart also provides data for five and six year graduation rates.
- This data does not account for students who begin their education in another major or as an undeclared major, but later complete their communication and journalism degrees in four, five, or six years at the university.
- This data also does not account for students who transfer to UW-Eau Claire and then complete their communication and journalism degrees in four, five, or six total years.
- Students who begin as communication and journalism majors but later change their majors and graduate from UW-Eau Claire in four, five or six years are not counted as graduating in this data.
