Student Organizations for Pre-Health Students

Are you interested in a health career? If so, you are in the right place! Joining one of our Pre-Professional Health student orgs is a great way to gain experience in your desired field. You will you meet people interested in the same career path and you will have many opportunities and resources available to you.

Pre-Professional Health Club

A club for: Pre-Dentistry, Pre-Med, Pre-Optometry, Pre-PA and Pre-Pharmacy students
Students involved in Pre-Professional Health Club will be provided pathways to explore future schooling and career opportunities. Volunteer opportunities throughout the year include Walk to End Alzheimers and Meals on Wheels. Several opportunities are offered for students to connect with their pre-professional fields through activities such as suture clinics, mock interviews, professional panels, dental retreats, and practice entrance exams. Meetings also often include presentations about important topics such as taking entrance exams, writing personal statements, and applying to healthcare institutions.

Pre-Vet Club

A club for: Pre-Vet students.
The Pre Vet Club creates a space for people to get to know others who are planning on becoming veterinarians. This club also creates a learning environment for members to learn more about veterinary medicine. People are also able to learn from veterinarians who are working in the field to better prepare members for their future career. There is discussions about opportunities in the community with animals as well as how to better prepare to apply for veterinary school.

A club for: Pre-Chiropractic, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Physical Therapy
Open to all Kinesiology majors and minors with the goal of help kins students become aware of the opportunities available in the community to make a great future professionals. - Meet 1x month on Tuesdays in McPhee

A club for: Pre-Athletic Training
The mission of this organization is to increase the overall outlook of our educational experience by means of promoting educational activities, that we might develop closer contact with those who are involved in our future athletic training / sports medicine profession.
