My name is Danica Lorasch, and I am the Center for Writing Excellence (CWE) Department Assistant. I am here to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our CWE Interns and all writers entering the Center. If you have any questions about the Center, setting up an appointment, or anything else, I am here to help.
Meet the Interns
Our interns and mentors come from a variety of majors and disciplines across campus. Each has been trained in writing center pedagogy and best practices. Additionally, our mentors are interns who are dedicated not only to UWEC writers, but supporting their fellow interns and the administration as needed.
Click on the photos below to learn more about each of our interns! While each intern is trained as a generalist who can work with any assignment from any discipline, each intern brings their own set of knowledge and interests to the CWE.
