For visitors, students and faculty/staff alike, parking can cause confusion on a college campus. At UWEC, we want everyone to be informed about what our parking system looks like and never be left wondering, can I park here?
Updates for Fall 2024
All parking regulations, including lower campus Visitor Lot A and Visitor Lot B will be enforced.
Due to the construction of the new science building, the Nursing Lot is offline. To offset the stalls in that lot, Nursing ‘G’ stalls have been split between the Phillips and Hibbard lot.
AMP in the Hibbard Lot is in the same row but has moved closer to State Street.
Upper Campus – UWEC Corner Lot: The Corner Lot is back again, bigger and better! The lot has 176 stalls: approx. 100 R permit required, 60 F or S permit required, & 15 AMP.
Please note the CVTC red areas are prohibited to park as they are not part of the lease agreement. Some are marked with green "reserved" signs. Please note that CVTC may ticket to tow in the red areas - see map below.
We ask students, faculty, staff, and guests to not walk in the landscaping area and to be respectful with garbage as receptacles will be placed at the entrances.
For your safety and pedestrians, please do not exceed the maximum speed limit of 10 miles per hour.
R permits enforced: 6am Monday through 4pm on Friday. Overnight is okay with an R permit.
F or S permits enforced: Daily Monday – Friday 6am to 4pm.
AMP zone payment required—7 days a week 8am to 9pm
Please watch for signage to make sure you are parked in the correct area for your permit. The lot will be open until May 16, 2025.
