The Bloomberg terminals are widely used in the investment industry and give users accurate and real-time access to news and research on stocks, bonds, commodities, and global markets.

Student Opportunities

Internships

An accounting or finance internship can be a part-time or full-time work experience. Many full-time internships are completed during the summer, or during tax season in the spring semester. Part-time internships are often completed while taking classes. Most accounting and finance internships are paid experiences with salary and benefits determined by the employer.

Business-focused student organizations allow students to network and connect with fellow business students, faculty, and professionals in the field. Student-Faculty Collaborative Research

As the center of undergraduate research in Wisconsin, undergraduate students can engage in scholarly research or creative projects given to graduate students at larger universities. Accounting and finance majors have presented their research at local, regional, and national conferences such as Research in the Rotunda hosted at the state Capitol.
