On Oct. 6, UW-Eau Claire alumna Susan Tietz will receive a special award from the Alumni Association, the Blugold Spirit Award. Tietz is being recognized for her steadfast support for all things blue and gold since her graduation in 1971.

Nicole Owen, an office manager in UW-Eau Claire’s mathematics department, is the recipient of the UW System Board of Regents University Staff Excellence Award for 2022. She will receive the award during a ceremony Sept. 30 at UW-Eau Claire.
