Two University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire instructors are among 24 people selected to participate in the UW System’s 2023-24 Wisconsin Teaching Fellows & Scholars program.

Dr. Anna Cook, a lecturer and general chemistry coordinator in UW-Eau Claire’s chemistry and biochemistry department, and Dr. Damir Kovačević, an assistant professor of political science, will be in the program that provides faculty and teaching academic staff an opportunity to collaborate with instructors from across the UW System and conduct research on improving student learning.

Participants must demonstrate excellent teaching skills and have a curiosity about learning to be nominated by a university’s provost. The yearlong program culminates with a research presentation at the annual Spring Conference on Teaching and Learning in Madison.

This year’s participants come from all UW System universities except UW-Madison.
