Edgar native and communication major Molly Nargiz Urmanski delivered the "Blugold Reflections" at the 9 a.m. ceremony for the College of Arts and Sciences, a moving personal narrative titled "I Don't Buy a Ticket, I've Already Won the Lottery."
Alumnus Horacio Rozanski, president and CEO of Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., gave the “Charge to the Class” during all three ceremonies.
Emily Annis of Durand, a candidate for a bachelor of business administration in management and communication, led the national anthem and the alma mater for the evening College of Business ceremony.
In official recognition of the conferral of baccalaureate degrees, all graduates together "toss the tassel" from right to left on their caps.
For Deepa Madhaven, walking the stage to receive her master's degree in data science was a moment she wouldn't have missed and well worth the trip all the way from Irving, Texas.
"Peace out, UWEC!"
For public health graduate Christable Araba Sackey of Marshall, commencement day became a joyous celebration for the entire family.
Ginseng Vang, a biology graduate from St. Paul, had a personalized stoll beautifully celebrating his Hmong heritage.
Friends and McNair Scholars Mary Obias and McKenzie Rombach were ready to shake things up and begin celebrating their achievements once they got to the campus mall on the picture-perfect sunny day.

Seven alumni and friends of the university will be honored with awards from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Alumni Association on Friday, Dec. 20.
