Julia Toenjes was drawn to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for numerous reasons. The Honors LLC became a major factor in Julia's choosing to come to UWEC. She was also drawn to UWEC because of the undergraduate research opportunities.
Many students rely on academic validation to motivate them in college, and Jocelyn Stepanek was no different. However, her time at UWEC has transformed her source of motivation, from grade-focused, to a natural curiosity for learning.
