Greek Week for 2024 will be Monday, April 15th through Friday, April 19th. Almost all events are open to any staff or student who would like to spectate or participate.
GREEK WEEK 2024- MISSION: GREEK POSSIBLE
Spirit Cup Competition
The Spirit Cup competition is held between the various social Greek organizations. The winning organization will receive a trophy and will be recognized at the Greek Game Night on April 19th.
All events will award chapters money toward their individual philanthropies for participation, with the scale including $20 for first place, $15 for second place, $10 for third place, and $5 for fourth place for each event. Candidate and medallion will be $20 only per winner. Events with points for attendance will be based on percentage of chapter roster.
Prior to Greek Week, chapters are assigned a banner to complete for their Greek Week Candidate and must submit a photo of their chapter recreating a scene from a spy movie/show and a general chapter photo.
Sunday, April 14th
Chalking | 5pm | Cubes
- Come help promote Greek Week by chalking around campus!

Monday, April 15th
Medallion Hunt, Monday through Thursday, Various locations on campus
- Starts at 8 a.m., with a clue posted every day at 8am in the Greek Life Facebook group through Thursday or until found
- Campus-wide search for the Greek Week medallion. $20 will be awarded to the winning chapter's philanthropy.
Penny Wars, Monday through Thursday, Davies 220
- Competition starts at 8am with jars located inside the Student Organization and Leadership Center and concludes on Thursday at 3 p.m.
- Pennies = positive points and Silver/Paper = negative points, with the total points being rounded to the nearest number. Example: $1 = -100.
- All proceeds will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
Food Drive, Monday through Thursday, Davies 220
- Starts at 8 a.m. with items being turned in next to the front desk of the Student Organization and Leadership Center, and concludes on Thursday at 3 p.m.
- Different points will be given for different items: Canned item = 1 point, Box meal/Pasta/Cereal = 2 points, Paper Products = 3 points, Baby Food = 5 points, Personal Care Products = 8 points, Diapers = 10 points.
- Homemade or opened items will not be accepted. Please do not donate items that need other ingredients to be used.
Faculty Progressive Dinner, 5:00 p.m., Ojibwe C
- Starts at 5:00 p.m. and will allow staff and faculty to learn about the Greek organizations, while enjoying a catered dinner
- There will be an overview of the chapters, and numerous opportunities to meet students involved in Greek Life at UW-Eau Claire.
- Dress code is badge attire.
Tuesday, April 16th
Greek Games
- Lip Sync Battle and more at 7pm in Schofield Auditorium
- Judges will award points appropriately for candidates
- Points will be awarded on chapter attendance
Wednesday, April 17th
Team Trivia
- Hosted by Order of Omega, join a mixed chapter team and battle on general trivia questions in Centennial 1804.
- Points will be awarded on chapter attendance
Wear Your Letters Wednesday
- Send a picture of yourself wearing your letters to the Greek Photo Circle!
Thursday, April 18th
Group Photo Search
- Meet in the Student Organization Complex at 7pm where groups will race around campus so find hidden images and complete secret challenges.
- Points will be awarded on chapter attendance
End of Medallion Hunt, Penny Wars, Banner Painting & Food Drive (3pm)
Friday, April 19th
Greek Game Night
- Find out the winners of the God and Goddess competition and Spirit Cup while enjoying a game night with the Greek community at 7pm in the Student Organization Complex

Banner Painting
- Each candidate will be given a bed sheet to paint for the week to represent their chapter the week's theme.
- Banners are due to the Cubes by 5 pm on Sunday, April 14th to be hung during the full Greek Week
Tuesday, April 16th
Greek Games
- Candidates will compete in the Lip Sync battle and other games in front of judges.
- Lip Sync battle and other games will include candidate plus 3 other chapter members.

Greek Candidate Interview
- Each candidate must schedule a 10 minute interview with the judges
