UW - Eau Claire Scholarships
Each year, UWEC awards over $3 million in scholarships. Awards can range from $150 to more than $8,000 per year. Students interested in applying for UW-Eau Claire Scholarships should complete the Admissions Scholarship Application.

External Scholarships
Students can search and find various private scholarships available outside of UWEC as well. If you are a high school student, make sure to check with your school counselor for local or national scholarships you may be able to apply for. There are also a number of website resources to search for scholarships available nationwide.
We also encourage students to visit our Scholarship Resource Center page, which includes a searchable database of scholarships external to UW-Eau Claire.
Reporting Private Scholarships
If you have received a private scholarship (any scholarship that is not UWEC specific), you must report it to Blugold Central in order for it to apply to your tuition bill. Private scholarships are not immediately applied to your account—it can take 1-2 weeks to process scholarship checks. Students should submit their scholarship checks as soon as possible to avoid additional fees or holds on their account.
