Children's Nature Academy Student Employment

The Children's Nature Academy hires approximately 120 students each semester to work as teacher assistants in the infant/toddler, two-year and preschool classrooms. It is desirable to hire students who have federal work-study allocation. Students work in 4-5 hour shifts. The morning shift is from 7:00-9:00 AM until noon. The afternoon shift is from noon until 4:30- 5:30 PM. Some evening hours are also available. Most students work at least two shifts per week or between 9-11 hours.

The Children's Nature Academy, which is located a few miles from campus, at 1190 Priory Rd., has children ranging from 6 weeks through 5 years of age. There are also school-age summer camps available to children ages 6-12.

There is a shuttle that runs during the school year at peak times throughout the day, Monday-Friday. The pick up/drop off locations are in front of Kjer Theatre on lower campus (corner of Park Ave. and Garfield) and right in front of our building.
