Take a Step Into the Future

Our new science and health sciences building will be the catalyst for innovation. Here, we will explore new programming, expand on our national leadership in undergraduate research, and increase collaborations with community partners.

Over the past decade, more than 350 outside businesses, nongovernmental organizations, and government agencies have engaged with UWEC science departments. These interactions, ranging from consultations during product development to long-term research collaborations, create pipelines to find internship opportunities and future career paths for students. This is just one of many reasons Blugolds are sought after post-graduation.

Experiential Curriculum Your First Year

A course in biomedical 3-D printing paired Blugolds with Radiology physicians at Mayo Clinic Health System to study medical imaging technologies and their use in generating 3-D printed models. These models are unique to an individual patient’s anatomy and can be used by surgeons to plan procedures. At UWEC, you could be doing this type of research in your first year as an undergraduate.

UW-Eau Claire will take an undergrad anywhere they want to go. The school revolves around its undergrads, and that is not always the case at the bigger schools.
