Mikayla Hady, from Mt. Auburn, Illinois, has always known she wanted to attend college in Wisconsin, where her parents are from. She had considered a few schools, but the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire felt like the right choice.

International students at UW-Eau Claire are eligible for all domestic intercultural immersion programs, which provide unique opportunities to have a guided experience learning about American life, culture and landscapes beyond campus.

Julia Toenjes was drawn to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for numerous reasons. The Honors LLC became a major factor in Julia's choosing to come to UWEC. She was also drawn to UWEC because of the undergraduate research opportunities.
