Although the details change from year to year, the traditions of the UWEC Homecoming carry on, and we are reminded each fall why this place is so special. Blugolds old and new alike can be guaranteed a weekend of fun times and exciting events, along with a perfect dose of nostalgia.

Event Schedule

Sunday, Oct. 6

• Pennant Hanging | 1:00 - 3:00pm, Blugold Living Room, Davies Studnet Center
  Show your campus pride and decorate a Homecoming pennant with your student organization or group. Registered groups will decorate their pennant to represent their organization/group along with the theme: Nothing Cheddar Than Eau Claire! The deadline to sign up is Oct. 1 and groups have until Oct. 4 to pick up a pre-cut bed sheet pennant from the Invovlement Center Front Desk. Hanging the pennants will be on Sunday, Oct. 6th.

Monday, Oct. 7

• Royalty Campaigning Begins
  Groups or student organizations supporting a candidate must complete the form in advance.
• Medallion Hunt Begins 
  Each day the UAC Instagram will release one clue on the Instagram story until the Medallion is found!
• Homecoming Kickoff | 11:00am - 1:00pm, Campus Mall Amphitheatre
  We're giving out FREE grilled cheese sandwiches, while supplies last! Celebrate the start of Homecoming Week with free grilled cheese and swag!

Tuesday, Oct. 8

• Pumpkin Painting: Cheesy Autumn | 11:00am - 2:00pm, Davies Center Plaza
  Show off your pumpkin painting skills! Registered individuals or organization will decorate their pumpkins to represent the theme: Cheesey Autumn! The deadline to sign up is Oct. 4 to paint a pumpkin and to be entered into the voting competition.

• Royalty Campaigning and Medallion Hunt Continues!

Thursday, Oct. 10

• Varsity Night Live | Schofield Auditorium 7:00 pm
  Co-hosted with the Singing Statesmen, come support various acts that sing, dance, and lip sync their way into the Homecoming weekend!

Friday, Oct. 11

• Provolone Palooza| 5:00pm - 7:00pm, Chippewa Lounge (by footbridge)
  We've got a lot in store for Provolone Palooza: carnival games, free food, fire pits, and announcing Homecoming Royalty! Student organizations will be able to sign up to facilitate a game. Sign up coming soon. Royalty will be announced at 6:45 pm.

Saturday, Oct. 12

• Parade | W Lake St and First Ave 10:00 am
  To march in the parade, sign up before Friday, Oct. 4th.
• Tailgating | Carson Park 11:00 am
  Get ready for the football game by tailgating at Carson Park sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Foundation! Food and fun available prior to and during the game!
• UWEC vs. UW-Stevens Point Football Game | Carson Park 1:00 pm
  Free with Blugold ID
  • Event Highlight: Squeak Easy - 8:00-10:0pm Suites Lobby, Housing and Residence Life

Sunday, Oct. 13

• Adopt-a-Block |  Water Street Parking Lot 1:00 pm
  Students gather at the Water Street lot to assist in a neighborhood clean-up of post-Homecoming events. Groups participating are asked to complete the form by Friday, Oct. 4.
