Final commencement in Zorn Arena is May 18
The 100,000th graduate to receive a diploma at Zorn Arena will be among the 1,485 UW-Eau Claire students at commencement exercises, the last in the facility. Next fall’s commencement will be the first in the new Sonnentag Event Center.

UW-Eau Claire to offer new major in professional studies
The university will offer a bachelor of science in professional studies major starting in fall 2024 to promote bachelor’s degree completion for students who have either earned an associate degree or have significant college credits.

Virtual technology allows Blugolds to use digital cadavers in anatomy courses
The College of Education and Human Sciences purchased two life-size 3D tables that are being used by undergraduate and graduate students in the departments of kinesiology and communication sciences and disorders.

Glenwood Commons, a new housing site in Rice Lake funded through a Wisconsin Economic Development Corp. grant, provides housing to UW-Eau Claire students completing student teaching and internships.
