    I was raised in raised in Eau Claire but lived for over 6 years in Los Angeles after graduating from high school. Upon returning home from L.A., I returned to UW-Eau Claire to finish my BA in Spanish and Latin American Studies. I've traveled to Nepal for 5 weeks and Cuernavaca, Mexico for 7 weeks. I have two sons, Jonah and Zebulan, 17 and 23 years of age. My husband Austin and I love summer camping and kayaking. Gardening and delicious food are my passions.

    Dr. Kirstin Rossi joined the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2015. She is an associate professor within the Special Education and Inclusive Practices (SEIP) department. Within the SEIP department, she is the coordinator of the Unified Early Childhood program and teaches a variety of courses in the areas of special education, early childhood education, play and sensory pedagogy, English language learners, cultural diversity, and collaboration.

She strives to provide a safe space where clients can uncover emotions, build positive skills to manage their mental health, and learn how to express themselves in safe and healthy ways.
