Biography

Biography

Dr. Robert Stow serves as the Director of the MS in Athletic Training Program (MSAT) at UW – Eau Claire as well is a member of the faculty for the Department of Kinesiology. Dr. Stow teaches a variety of classes within the MSAT, involving evaluation/assessment techniques, soft tissue manipulation, therapeutic modalities, anatomy, and applied nutrition. His current research interests have been influenced by the use of technology in the educational setting, with an interest in how technology could be used to assist the transfer of learning. Dr. Stow also has a strong research interest in the use of manual therapy as part of the rehabilitation process and Femoroacetabular Impingement (FAI). He is active with the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association as a member of the research and outcomes committee. Dr. Stow also has various certification and licensures as an Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Graston Technique, Titleist Performance Specialists, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment.
