Biography
I started at UWEC in 2007 and knew the moment I got that here I wanted to stay! Since then, I have had the pleasure of teaching in the sequence of Organizational Communication in the CJ Department. Yet, I have also had the opportunity to work with students from a plethora of other CJ sequences majors, minors, and certificates as well as students from outside the CJ Department in courses I teach that serve as elective and/or liberal education credit that I believe enhance the classroom learning for these courses. I am also an Affiliate of the Women's, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Program in the Department of Race, Ethnicity, Gender, & Sexuality Studies, with which CJ classes are sometimes cross listed to enhance collaboration between programs across campus. In addition, I have worked with students on faculty-student research collaborations for many of my years here as well as immersion trips with Blugolds. In addition, I serve as an Editorial Review Board member the International Journal for Inclusive Education.
