I am a Learning Center Specialist in the Academic Skills Center where I manage the Peer Tutoring program and teach academic skills courses. I also lecture in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. My background is in physics, and I graduated from UWEC in 2009 with a major in physics and a minor in math. I went on to earn my master’s degree in physics from The Ohio State University and then my master’s degree in science education from Iowa State University. I taught high school science for 10 years before returning to UWEC and joining the ASC in 2023. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys, reading, running, and playing video games. I find meaning in helping people, especially students, so please reach out if there is any way I can support your success at UWEC.
