Spring 2024-25 On-Campus Meal Plan Changes

The deadline for students to select or change their on-campus meal plan has passed.  Changes are no longer being accepted.

Fall 2025-26 On-Campus Meal Plan Sign Up & Change Information (New & Returning Students)

All students living in a residence hall must have an on-campus meal plan each semester and can choose from either the Gold Flex, Blu or Loyalty Dining Dollars plan. Students living in Aspenson Mogensen, Chancellors, Haymarket Landing and The Priory are exempt from this policy by may purchase one of these plans for convenience, if desired.

New and returning students living in a residence hall that requires an on-campus meal plan will automatically be assigned the Gold Flex Meal Plan when their room assignments are made. Students living in Aspenson Mogensen, Chancellors, Haymarket Landing and The Priory wanting to purchase a meal plan can make their selection in the Housing Portal.

Any student wanting to change their plan can do so in the Housing Portal starting on June 9. The deadline to make changes in the Housing Portal is 10:00 pm on August 4.

Starting on September 2, students can change their meal plan by coming to the Blugold Card Office (located on the 1st floor of Davies Center) to fill out a Meal Plan Change Form.  In-person changes will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Tuesday, September 9.  No changes to meal plans will be allowed after 4:00 pm on September 9.

MEAL PLAN DOLLAR BALANCES

Meal plan dollar balances will roll over from 1st to 2nd semester only if the student has an active meal plan both semesters.  Students who do not have an on-campus meal plan for 2nd semester will forfeit any balance that remains at the end of the 1st semester.

All meal plan dollars expire at the end of the academic year.  No refunds will be given for unused balances.

On-Campus Meal Plan Additional Information

All students who live in a residence hall must have an on-campus meal plan each semester and can choose from either the Gold Flex, Blu or Loyalty Dining plans. The location of a student’s residence hall does not determine or suggest which plan they should choose. Students living in Aspenson Mogensen Hall, Chancellors Hall, Haymarket Landing and The Priory are exempt from this policy but may purchase a meal plan if they would like.

Students living in campus housing that requires an on-campus meal plan will be assigned the Gold Flex plan when their housing assignment is made.  If a student wants either the Blu or Loyalty Dining Dollars plan, it is their responsibility to initiate the change within the parameters of the meal plan change period as explained above.

Meal Plan Dollars can be used at any campus dining location during each semester. They are used as cash equivalent to make dining purchases and have no cash value.

Meal plan dollar balances remaining at the end of the first semester will roll over to second semester only if a student has an active on-campus meal plan both semesters. All on-campus meal plan dollars remaining at the end of the academic year will expire. Meal plan dollars have no cash value.

Off-Campus Meal Plan Sign-Up

Off-Campus students are not required to have a meal plan.  However, we have two meal plans geared towards students living off-campus, in Aspenson Mogensen Hall, Chancellors Hall, Haymarket Landing or The Priory: Diner's Club and the Flex 50 Meal Plan. Both plans can be purchased on-line through eAccounts.

(Please note that the Flex 50 Meal Plan cannot be purchased after February 28 to ensure students have ample time to use their plan balances.  No refunds on unused dollars or blocks will be issued.  Balances may not be transferred at any time.)
