Intro

An internship provides hands-on experience in your profession, deepens your knowledge, builds connections and boosts confidence. Many internships lead to job offers, as companies often use them to screen potential employees.

Internships can be paid or unpaid, part-time or full-time, and may earn university credits including credits towards major requirements or be recorded as non-credit experiences. They can also fulfill course requirements in your major. While not mandatory, students are strongly encouraged to complete at least one internship during their college career.
