Lawyers for Learners 

Lawyers for Learners will connect you with legal professionals who can help with a variety of legal matters.  The help they can provide depends on the legal matter. It may include: 

• Advice: Providing legal counsel, including options and next steps based on your specific situation. 
• General assistance: Helping you complete forms, sharing information about court procedures or available resources, and providing guidance on self-representation.
• Referral: Connecting you with a resource.
• Full Representation: Working with you for an entire legal proceeding. 

Getting Started

To start, you will need to provide some information about yourself and your problem.  You will need to use your uwec email address to access the service.  

You will be contacted within five business days to schedule an appointment.  Appointments may be virtual or in person.  Both daytime and evening appointments are available.   Office space and a computer are available within the Student Senate Office (Davies 220) if you need a quiet confidential space for your meeting.   Click the link below for more information and to schedule your appointment.
