Recreation staff develop Student Learning Outcomes for the department that align with the Student Affairs Learning Outcomes. These are reviewed annually in consultation with the Assessment Office. 

Respect For Diversity

Students who work for Recreation will demonstrate an understanding and respect for diversity.  

Personal Wellbeing

Students who work for Recreation will learn to balance work, school, and personal affairs while maintaining a healthy lifestyle and having a sense of belonging. 

Critical Thinking

Students who work for Recreation practice problem solving, make difficult decisions, and think critically about issues that arise.

Academic Integration

Students who work for Recreation will apply what they are learning in the classroom to their Recreation employment and professional career after graduation. 

Leadership

Students who work for Recreation will practice and demonstrate their leadership skills.
