Orientation & Welcome Interns:

Orientation Interns are student managers who oversee our staff of Orientation Assistants (see below). They specialize in administrative and logistical aspects of running our orientation programs, facilitate training and social activities for our OA staff, and work with faculty and staff on campus in leading some of our major activities during Blugold Experience Days.
Our Blugold Welcome Intern manages all major aspects of event planning for our Blugold Welcome series of events in the fall (including the brainstorming, organization, and implementation processes), and oversees our team of Blugold Welcome leaders.
Interns will average 5-10 hours/week throughout the spring (Feb-May), and then will work 40 hours/week in the summer (June-August/September).
Orientation Assistants (OAs):

OAs help welcome incoming students and their families to campus through a variety of fun programs and events during the summer. This position will offer 30-40 hours per week with competitive pay, as well as free housing on campus. You’ll gain significant communication, leadership, and program planning skills and collaborate with a variety of offices across campus.
Blugold Welcome Leaders:

Welcome leaders work during the first few weeks of school to prep for and manage fun welcome events for new students – check out our main page here! Welcome leaders get the chance to work both on and off-campus, connect with community businesses, and gain substantial event planning experience. Options for early move-in will also be available to those living in the residence halls for the fall term.
