UW-Eau Claire’s Health Careers Center team is proud to be working with the Mayo Clinic Health System team to make this unique program available to UW-Eau Claire students , high school students in their junior or senior year, and the community at large.
About The Medical Academy Program
Spring 2025- Mondays, March 31-April 28th. 6-7:30PM
Registration Opens, February 17th.
Free of Cost- Registration Required- Those who attend all sessions will receive a digital certificate of completion.
The 2025 Medical Academy Program will include a series of presentations about the human body and path to medicine. The academy will be held on the UW-Eau Claire campus, and five Mayo Clinic Health System physicians will lead the presentations.
Spring 2025 sessions will include:
- March 31 - Jason Beckermann, M.D., General Surgery/Trauma
- April 7 - Terri Nordin, M.D., Family Medicine
- April 14 - Blenda Yun, M.D., OB/GYN
- April 21 - Bilal Unar, M.D., Hospital Medicine
- April 28 - Sue Cullinan, M.D., Emergency Department (and completion of program)
