Biography

Biography

Dr. Li holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa. After earning her degrees, she joined the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire as an Assistant Professor of Economics. She is now a tenured full professor. Her research primarily focuses on the roles of money, credit, and banking within the macroeconomy, as well as the liquidity effects of monetary policy. Dr. Li is also interested in the study of subjective well-being and income inequality, particularly in emerging economies. Her recent publications can be found in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Macroeconomics, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Transportation Research (Part A): Policy and Practice, Environment, Development and Sustainability, Applied Research in Quality of Life, International Review of Economics and Finance, Review of Social Economy, Journal of Asian Pacific Economy, International Journal of Community Well-Being, Journal of Business Diversity, Journal of Applied Business and Economics, International Business Research, and International Journal of Economics and Finance.
