Dr. Yan Li

Dr. Li holds a Ph.D. in Economics and an M.S. in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa. After earning her degrees, she joined the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire as an Assistant Professor of Economics. She is now a tenured full professor. Her research primarily focuses on the roles of money, credit, and banking within the macroeconomy, as well as the liquidity effects of monetary policy. Dr. Li is also interested in the study of subjective well-being and income inequality, particularly in emerging economies.
