Quentin Vieregge, PhD

I am a Professor of English at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire–Barron County. I teach Composition, Literature, and Film Classes (among others). I research and write about film, popular culture, and writing studies. I’ve been teaching here since Fall 2011. Before that I studied and taught at the University of South Florida and Texas Tech University.

Some of my career highlights include:

• lead author of the book, Agency in the Age of Peer Production.
• co-author of the book, The U.S. Constitution in Film: Part of Our National Heritage.
• winner of the 2023-2024 WADEN Distance Learning Educator of the Year Award for Higher Education.
