Biography

Biography

I am an educational and developmental psychologist with broad interests in child, adolescent, and college student development. I thoroughly enjoy helping college students see connections between psychology and various contexts such as schools, parenting, coaching, therapy, etc. I am passionate about creating optimal learning experiences for K-12 and college students by understanding the factors that underlie effective learning and teaching.

My recent research projects have focused on student well-being, academic motivation, disability awareness and attitudes, parent involvement, classroom anxiety, and achievement pressure. Please reach out to me (email or stop by my office) if you are interested in learning more about my research. I welcome the opportunity to include students from all majors in my research, particularly students who aspire to work with children, adolescents, and families.
