Mark Wehde

Biography
Mark is the chair of engineering at Mayo Clinic where he leads a team of managers, engineers, software developers, project managers, and technologists in multiple operating units providing development, implementation, and integration of technology solutions across Mayo Clinic.
Mark is also a fellow in the Mayo Clinic Academy of Educational Excellence, an assistant professor of biomedical engineering in the Mayo Clinic College of Science and Engineering, and the James J. Renier Chair in Medical Device Innovation at the University of Minnesota Technology Leadership Institute. Mark is also a lecturer for the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium.
He is a member of the South Dakota State University Electrical Engineering Industry Advisory Board, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Biomedical Engineering Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board for the Clinician Engineer Hub at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Imperial College London, and King’s College London. Mark is the vice chair of the board of directors for the Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union.
