Biography

Biography

Dr. Kincaid teaches State and Local Politics as an Associate Professor. Her instruction concentrates on the practical wisdom inherent in the practice of local political leadership. Her course prepares students to navigate the political apparatus of municipal government. 

Dr. Kincaid served as a local elected leader for twenty five years, including fourteen years on City Council and nine years as the Council President. Her particular areas of interest were land use policy and effective governance in the Council/Manager form of government.
