Biography
Graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, IA. Participated in Academic Decathlon, earning 2nd place at the state competition. Also played JV Soccer.
After high school, attended University of Iowa earning BS degrees in Mathematics and in Computer Science, also a minor in Ancient Civilizations. Worked at QuikTrip convenience store through high school and undergraduate degrees.
Stayed at University of Iowa for PhD. in Mathematics Education under advisor Harold L Schoen. Worked at the Educational Technology Center at the university.
In 2005, started at UW-Eau Claire in the Department of Mathematics. During summers, I score and participate as a table leader for AP Calculus. Currently ex officio member of the Wisconsin Mathematics Council board.
