Broaden Your World View

Classes throughout the certificate program will explore topics like world politics, international law, power and wealth, and various theoretical approaches to world political order.

Program curriculum is intentionally designed to provide you with a better understanding of world politics' specializations, concepts, vocabulary and methods for graduate concentrations, helping you to define your passions and career goals. The ability to choose two electives within the certificate program gives you the ability to further customize your studies and certificate.

Upon graduation, you'll have the knowledge and skills necessary for successful employment in a global political economy, making a positive impact wherever your career takes you.

Coursework within the international affairs certificate will examine themes within politics, economics and international relations. Through a combination of required and elective class topics, you will learn about becoming a constructive global citizen, connecting what you learn with your own experience as well as analyzing the principal causes of — and solutions for — global economic inequalities and underdevelopment.
