The Center for Environmental Research and Scholarship serves as an interdisciplinary hub for environmental scholarship, teaching, and service, providing the University and community with access to the environmental efforts on our campus to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and raise the profile of our programs.
The Center for Environmental Research and Scholarship provides the following:
- Interdisciplinary scholarships to any student in the College of Arts and Sciences who wants to study and research the environment.
- Mini grants to faculty of any discipline in the college to pursue research or creative activity related to environmental scholarship.
- A speaker series bringing in experts on sustainability and environmental practices to campus, an opportunity for the campus and community to learn more about climate, environment and sustainability research.
Upcoming Events
UW-Eau Claire has been a recognized leader in undergraduate research for decades, and an initiative of the College of Arts and Sciences is set to help expand research opportunities specific to the health of our environment.
UW-Eau Claire has been named to The Princeton Review Guide to Green Colleges for the fifth consecutive year for its programs, policies and practices related to sustainability and the environment.
