Dainsberg named 2022 Outstanding Marketing Student

Ryan Dainsberg, a senior marketing and Spanish double major from Eden Prairie, MN, was selected as the 2022 Outstanding Marketing Student by the UW-Eau Claire marketing faculty. He was recognized for his scholarship, leadership, and community service at a May 9th celebration for graduating seniors hosted by the faculty. 

Dainsberg is also a University Honors graduate and member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Throughout his time in the American Marketing Association student organization, he experienced leadership roles and honors such as Vice President of Business Consulting and Vice President of Conferences and placed first in the Digital Marketing Strategy Competition by AcuRite.

After a summer internship in 2021, he received a formal job offer as a consumer products sales representative with Hormel Food in Pennsylvania. 

OUTSTANDING MARKETING SENIORS
All nominees for the outstanding marketing senior award were chosen based on their future leadership potential and exceptional work ethic demonstrated while at the College of Business.

DIGITAL MARKETING ANALYTICS CERTIFICATE
Five students were presented with the Digital Marketing Analytics Certificate which prepares students for successful careers in digital marketing. Students must complete an internship or have work experience in digital marketing positions for either a profit or a nonprofit organization while completing their BBA degree.

CERTIFIED SALES CERTIFICATE 
Twenty-five students were also presented with the Certified Sales Student Certificate sponsored by the University Sales Center Alliance, a consortium of recognized and accredited sales programs from across the United States. The national certificate program recognizes students for going beyond minimal course requirements to prepare themselves for successful sales jobs and careers.
