Mathematical Problem Solving
Learn how to use mathematical logic and tools to make sense of problems and solve them.
Further Your Critical Thinking Skills
If you enjoy analytical thinking and solving complex issues, the mathematical problem solving minor might be for you. Through exploring course topics related to probability, statistics and even the thinking patterns of problem solving, you will be equipped to use mathematical solutions to solve all kinds of problems.
Throughout the program, you'll utilize multiple viewpoints to construct arguments and critique others' reasoning. Since these kinds of critical thinking and problem analysis skills are prevalent across multiple disciplines, the mathematical problem solving minor complements any major.
