About The Medical Academy Program

The 2024 Medical Academy Program included a six-week series of presentations about the body and the wonder of health care. The academy was held on the UW-Eau Claire campus, and six Mayo Clinic Health System physicians lead the presentations. Details about the Spring 25 Medical Academy Program will be available in early 2025 and will feature a series of presentations about the human body and the many career paths in medicine spanning 5 Mondays from March 31st-April 28th.

- April 1- Dr. Timothy Young, Neurology
- April 8- Dr. Amy Rantala, Orthopedics
- April 15- Dr. Andrew Calvin, Cardiology
- April 22- Dr. Michael Colgan, Dermatology
- April 29- Dr. Jason Beckermann, Gastroenterology
- May 6- Dr. Mark Deyo Svendsen, Family Medicine (and completion of program)
