Making Magic at UWEC

As a theatre arts major, Ben Seidman found himself immersed in the world of performance on campus and gained the confidence needed to pursue a full-time career as a magician. 

Nathan Donovan
On Dec. 21, Nathan Donovan will graduate from UW-Eau Claire after 3.5 years with a 3.88 GPA, a bachelor’s degree in biology and a preprofessional health science minor with plans to apply to medical school. On the soccer pitch, he is the 2024 NCAA Division III national soccer player of the year and scholar-athlete of the year, in addition to being a two-time All-American.

Honors student Calvin Lutzke is a triple major in Latin American and Latinx studies, political science and Spanish, with a deep passion for exploring culture, politics and language. Through study abroad experiences and active involvement on campus, Lutzke has grown his leadership skills and commitment to making a positive impact.
